About the Role

Arctic Wolf is looking for a Network and Technology Operations Specialist in our Global Technical Operations (GTO) organization. The goal of this role will be to design, build and maintain tooling and automation with code to improve the quality of our Global Technical Operations team. This individual will also work with Arctic Wolf customers to support the customer side software and infrastructure used to deliver and maintain our Security Service.

This is a customer facing role and will also require you to work closely with other customer facing teams, internal product, and R&D teams to identify issues and drive solutions for reported or escalated issues. You will work to solve complex issues with both software, virtual and hardware installations working as part of a solutions team or as an individual assigned to triaged issues.

As a Senior Network and Technology Operations Specialist, you will:

Lead projects, incidents, tasks and initiatives and own the technical outcome

Represent Global Technical Operations to key stakeholders.

Responsible for designing and implementing automation for GTO

Responsible to investigate fleet wide issues and create action plans

Collaborate with R&D and Product on critical or time sensitive issues and drive resolutions for high impact issues for our customers.

Work with customers to solve technical issues.

Leveraging your communication skills and ability to make complex technical issues simple to understand.

We are looking for someone who has most of the following:

5 – 7 years of relevant experience in a networking and development background

Advanced development or scripting experience with Python

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

Affinity for solving technical challenges.

Background and experience with networking and cybersecurity

Experience with Ubuntu, AWS, Elastic Search, Kibana, Outlook365, Zendesk, Jira is a plus

Development or scripting experience with Ruby, Powershell, GO recommended.

Development tooling experience with Git, docker, Terraform and Ansible, a bonus.
