Our client is a leading food production facility dedicated to delivering high-quality products and are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Millwright to ensure the smooth operation of their mechanical equipment and systems. Are you mechanically inclined with experience working in an industrial setting? This could be the opportunity that you have been waiting forResponsibilities:Ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical equipment in the facilityPerform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks as requiredTrouble shoot and repair of general equipment, mechanical and electricalProvide general maintenance support to food processing machines, conveyors, etc.Manage all control systems in the plant, utilizing thorough knowledge of processing and packaging systems.Requirements:3+ years of experience working in a general maintenance role, manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset.Certified as a Journeyman Millwright is required.Experience with maintenance and/or repair of similar industrial commercial facility.Experience with welding and machining and proficient in the use of hand and power tools.Knowledge of PMC programs or other preventative maintenance software.Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and comply with Company policies, Health and Safety legislation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and environmental standards.Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing for duration of shift.Willingness to work as part of a 2 person team.Self-motivated, able to work with a sense of urgency within tight deadlines.Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsMust have own tools, toolbox, and safety shoes in good repairWillingness to work weekend shifts, overtime, and rotating shifts as requiredWhat our client offers:Competitive salary $47.80/hr, full-time hours, and benefits packageWork in a sustainable industry with a great opportunity for long-term professional growth and developmentA safe and collaborative work environmentIf this sounds like the next step in your career and you are looking to be part of a great team, then we would love to hear from you Don’t wait – apply now About Equation Staffing Solutions: Equation Staffing Solutions is a successful, award-winning Calgary based staffing and recruitment agency specializing in the placement of candidates on a temporary, contract or permanent basis.
