ABOUT THE ROLEThe Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator performs duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of an office. This includes managing communications such as answering phones and emails, handling administrative tasks including scheduling, ordering supplies, maintaining records and coordinating office activities and events. We are proud of our sustainability focus, reducing our carbon footprint by operating as a completely paper-free environment and allowing employees the opportunity to be part of building something recognizable to everyone in your community.Essential FunctionsCoordinate Office Activities and Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the SLS Construction offices located in Langley BC, including managing administrative tasks and office workflows.Maintain Office Supplies and Equipment: Monitor and replenish office supplies, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.Facilities Management: Collaborate with building management to address and resolve any facility-related issues, ensuring the office environment is well-maintainedProject Support: Assist with projects and initiatives, providing administrative support.Other duties as assignedRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards ABOUT YOUQualificationsMinimum 2+ years of executive support and/or progressively-responsible administrative experiencePreferred EducationHigh school diploma or GED is requiredAssociate's degree in business, management or related field is beneficialKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple prioritiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive informationProficiency with MS Office SuiteStrong commitment to safetyDetail-orientedExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to think practicallySolid interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain rapportExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong leadership and team building skills WHAT WE OFFERCompensation & BenefitsSalary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
