Job Summary:

The primary role of this position is to provide an extraordinary vacation experience for our Owners and Guests by maintaining our First Tracks Lodge property to a five-star standard.  As a part-time Strata Maintenance Technician, you will be working alone, performing property touch-ups and repairs at First Tracks Lodge.  

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 / hour
  • Skill Level: Entry
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round, Part Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace Lodging Ovation's Leadership Best Practices and Mission to ensure an extraordinary vacation experience for Owners and Guests. 
    • Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and policies. Notify supervisor or management of all unsafe conditions and practices. 
      • Adhere to all Vail Resorts and Lodging Ovations training, policies and procedures. 
        • Routinely patrol all common (strata) spaces at First Tracks Lodge to inspect and correct any defect in: 
          • Paint Finish and Drywall 
            • Woodwork 
              • Flooring (Tile, Grout, Carpet) 
                • Lighting 
                  • Other strata assets as directed 
                    • Keep all work areas clean and organized. Report all missing tools and required supplies to a supervisor. 
                      • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, outstanding tasks, and noted deficiencies 

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years professional painting experience as a level 4 painter 
    • A minimum of 2 years professional drywall repair experience
    • A minimum of 2 years professional woodworking and refinishing experience 
  • Preferred Skills:   
    • Tile and grout repair experience is strongly preferred

Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently at heights 

  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds 

  • Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions 

  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
