Job Summary:
The lead trail maintenance specialist will oversee a team of trail maintenance crew members, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our trails. This includes installing and maintaining erosion control measures, participating in revegetation efforts, and implementing safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of trail maintenance crew members
- Determine the correct tools needed for tasks and ensure their return at the end of the day
- Evaluate surroundings to execute tasks safely
- Ensure proper PPE use for self and others
- Develop a working knowledge of tools and equipment
- Have a clear understanding of access roads and travel paths
Benefits and Compensation:
Full-time roles are eligible for additional benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness, and accident plans. We also offer a competitive starting wage of $24.00/hour and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need 2+ years of trail maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
