Your key duties will include:-Collect and verify timesheet data, then calculate wages, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions, to run payroll on time and accurately.-Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a professional and efficient manner.-Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs) as needed, and keep all payroll documentation organized and up to date.-Administer payroll taxes and employee benefit payments, while tracking compensation details, such as pay rates, benefit changes, and new hire information.Qualifications-At least 1 year of experience in a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator role, with a focus on Canadian payroll, particularly in Ontario.-Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute (formerly The National Institute of Payroll) is an asset, or currently working toward certification.-Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and related regulations.-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experienced with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).-Comfortable working fully onsite. -Highly reliable with strong attention to detail.-Strong verbal and written communication skills.SummaryIf this job is for you, please contact me at ollie.somboontirdtana@randstad.ca .If you do not have the qualifications for this role but you have a minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting and you are located in the North York/York Region (or willing to commute to), please contact me as I may have another role suitable for youRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
