Payroll Specialist Join to apply for the Payroll Specialist role at ADP. The role offers an opportunity to help clients leverage ADP's solutions to focus on growing their businesses. As a payroll specialist, you'll support ADP’s Human Resources Outsourcing department, answering payroll and tax-related questions from Client Payroll Administrators. You will maintain ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Manage client payroll: account for multiple clients, oversee scheduling and execution of payrolls according to SOPs, balance payrolls based on the year‑end calendar, remit third‑party remittances, and complete year‑end balancing and filing. Serve as a subject‑matter expert: provide accurate statutory information on payroll and tax filing, use knowledge bases and internal tools, and recommend best practices. Problem‑solver: collaborate with internal technical support, production departments, and ADP Service hubs to resolve issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Develop knowledge: maintain NPI designation, attend required training sessions, and demonstrate proficiency in learning. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience. Minimum 5 years client service experience. Advanced internet and MS Office skills (Word/Excel). Excellent communication and analytical skills, translating findings into actionable solutions. Excellent client service skills. Preferred Qualifications: Post‑secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience in administration, client service, or HR. Working toward or holding a National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification (PCP, CPM) and benefit from tuition and membership reimbursements.
