Job Description:

Gore Mutual Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architecture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Enablement function, you will be responsible for providing thought leadership within the technology and business teams for the Guidewire Insurancesuite and wider ecosystem.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will work directly with senior business leaders in Personal and Commercial Lines, as well as departments across the organization, to translate their strategic project requirements into well-formed project scope and deliverables that are aligned with our architecture future state.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide thought leadership within the technology and business teams to identify areas for innovation within the ecosystem based on understanding of our business and processes and the opportunities available in the Guidewire ecosystem.

- Collaborate across architectural domains to drive consensus on business and technology solutions.

- Work directly with senior business leaders in Personal and Commercial Lines to understand their strategic requirements and overall direction of the business, aligning leadership across lines of business to a consistent architecture based on our architectural principles.

- Define capability roadmaps for lines of business to achieve this future state, leveraging existing and future capabilities to create optimal solutions from both business and IT perspectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

- 6+ years of experience in Architecture, Technology Engineering, Software Development, or Business Analysis.

- 3+ years of experience as Business Architect.

- Deep understanding of P&C Insurance in Canada, across Commercial and Personal Lines.

- Deep understanding of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud roadmap.

- Background in Business Analysis for Guidewire.

- Guidewire technical certification is an advantage.

- In-depth understanding of at least two of the following competencies: microservices governance, DevOps, Agile architecture, data analytics, and TOGAF.
