Accounting Administrator 175 AP$27.00 an hourBenefits-Opportunity to be hired on-Benefits once hired with the company-RRSP Contributions-Performance bonus-Great work life balanceResponsibilities-Inputting financial transactions into accounting software, including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries-Reviewing and verifying invoices, matching them to purchase orders, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments regarding billing issues and payments-Managing accounts receivable by following up on outstanding payments and claims, processing credit and debit memos, and coordinating with customers and internal departments regarding collection issues. -Posting transactions to the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records. -Comparing and balancing account balances to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. -Reconciling bank statements to accounting transactions to ensure accuracy. -Maintaining organized financial records and documentation. -Ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance standards under J-SOX requirements and assist with year-end audits. Assets-5 years’ experience working as an accounting administrator or in a related finance role -Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices -Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle is an asset) -Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis -Ability to accurately input data and identify errors in financial information -Ability to provide clear communication with colleagues and stakeholders regarding financial information -Maintains a high level of confidentiality in working with sensitive information -Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks -Bilingual English/French is a plusInterested?
