Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it’s the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities.Position Details:Position:  Airport Security Officer (ACO)Site: Halifax Airport (HIAA)Overtime: Overtime after 48 hoursHours: Continental Rotation - 0600-1800/1800-0600Payrate: $21.65Posting Date: March 3, 2025Internal Closing Date: November 30, 2025External Closing Date: November 30, 2025Schedule Example:4 days on (2 days on day shift/2 days on night shift), 4 days offKey Responsibilities:As an Access Control Officer, you will be working as the main Security detail for Halifax Stanfield International Airport. You will ensure the safety & security of all passengers, workers and flight personnel by monitoring the Primary Security Line or PSL at various gates and access points.
