**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Work directly with our full time Housekeeping Manager to ensure daily tasks and housekeeping operations are fulfilled.
- Provide excellent communication to the Director of Operations, General Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and all other Managers regarding any issues on a regular basis.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure the correct handling of guest laundry and lost property in accordance with hotel and company standards.
- Ensure adherence to security of bedrooms and keys as detailed in the Standards and Procedures Manual.
- Carry out as necessary any job within the department such as being able to cover a possible sick call/staff shortage and clean rooms if needed.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance and inventory usage. Report these findings to the Housekeeping Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
