Retro will be paid after the ratification.Language of Work:Anglais | English, Français | FrenchRequirements and Nature of Work:Nature of Work: The student will assist with the research project about sextortion, which will include transcribing interviews, sorting and categorizing data, and identifying themes (thematic analysis).The research assistant will also have opportunities to contribute to other research duties as needed, including but not limited to contributing to literature reviews and supporting manuscript writing, depending on the specific skills and interests of the applicant.Qualifications:• 4th year undergraduate or graduate student• Experience with qualitative research, thematic analysis, interview transcription, or a very strong aptitude to develop and hone such research skills• Interest in the research topic, with related thematic experience• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized• Works well independently• Responsible and trustworthy• Efficient, but careful• Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel and Lumivero NVivo• Proficiency in both French and English a strong assetAdditional Information and/or Comments:All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
