Bolton Service Centre.As the Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring EPCOR’s regulatory submissions meet the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and timeliness. This position is central to the success of our regulatory affairs function, requiring a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and exceptional organizational skills. You will manage multiple concurrent applications, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and oversee the integrity of our document control systems.You will also contribute to strategic initiatives by supporting tariff applications, cost claims, and grant funding proposals, while conducting research and analysis on regulatory topics that impact EPCOR’s electricity operations.What you’d be responsible forEnsurethe delivery of optimal results against specified performance metricsformaintaining internal document management systems and processesCoordinatesubmission of regulatory filings on behalf of various EPCOR business units tothe regulator (including AUC and Ontario Energy Board), ensuring submissions are accurate, completed on time and are in the company’s best interestsLiaisingwith external partiessuch astheAUC, external legal counsel and other utilities,and managingrecordswithlegal counsel representatives and theAUCRecords Centre.Manage regulatory historical data archives; conduct regulatory research related to past proceedings and submissionsParticipate in the NRCan grant application process including authorship of sections within Full Project Proposals and, if applicable, the Due Diligence processEnsurepolicy, procedure and work practice adherence and compliance; ensure all filings, reports and submissions meet the regulator’s requirementsProvide generaladministrativesupport tothe RegulatoryAffairs & Business Planning team; manage the Regulatory Affairs calendar and meeting schedulesPrepare Electricity Services’Cost Claim Applications including narrative and supporting schedulesand analysis of supporting cost informationPrepare specified sections and components of EDTI Tariff Applications including coordination of narrative sections and supporting schedulesWhat’s required to be successfulDegree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university5+ years ofdirectly related administrativeand records management experienceExpertise inMS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint administration experience is preferredAbilitytounderstand the technical position requirementssuch as regulatory document control andquality assuranceAbility tosolve problemsand prioritize meeting overlapping deadlinesAbility to build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExperience with regulatory documentation, Alberta Statutesand Commission Rulesand policiesExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage confidential recordsStrong communication and presentation skillsAs ourideal candidate,you take ownership and demonstrate initiative by achieving objectives on time and to a defined standard with a focus on continuous improvement. Some EPCOR positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.A technical/practical assessment may be administered during the selection process and this exercise will be used as a part of the selection criterion.To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required.
