Job descriptionHireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Labeling Technician to join its team responsible for building, curating, and maintaining high-definition road networks.In this role, you will expand the geofence, validate the accuracy of annotated data, and respond to “world change” events to ensure that the maps remain up-to-date.We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate is adept at managing time effectively, communicating clearly, and working independently and collaboratively to support the integrity of the company's mapping system.As a Labeling Technician, you'll:Create and maintain the company's semantic road network data.Ensure the map content aligns with road geometry and adheres to established content requirements.Validate road network data for accuracy, correctness, and consistency with real-world conditions.Meet deadlines and contribute to high-stakes company goals.Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve mapping-related issues.RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or 2 years of relevant work experienceExperience in a fast-paced work environment with adaptability to changing prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret spatial data for informed decision-makingKeen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAbility to meet critical deadlines in a dynamic environmentClear and effective communication with internal teamsAbility to work independently while ensuring alignment with team objectivesA collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team successStrong ability to interpret, analyze, and apply mapping data effectivelyBonus Qualifications:Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, or quality assuranceA background in mapping, cartography, or map content validationA passion for autonomous vehicle technology and geospatial dataBenefits:Pre-tax commuter benefits Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefitsFlexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costsHireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance401k packageCommitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
