**Position Summary**:
As our Flexographic Plate Maker / Prepress Technician, you’ll be responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality flexographic printing plates and supporting prepress production tasks. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout the printing process.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Operate plate-making equipment to produce flexographic plates according to job specifications
- Handle mounting, imaging, processing, and quality checks of plates
- Review artwork and job tickets to ensure accuracy before plate production
- Collaborate with press and prepress teams to meet production timelines
- Maintain and organize plate inventory, including proper storage and identification
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plate-making equipment
- Assist with other prepress/production duties as required

**Education & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (college diploma in Graphic Communications/Print Production an asset)
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with prepress software (Esko experience is an asset)

- Ability to interpret job tickets and follow detailed production instructions
- Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

- 8 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible schedule
- Day Shift

**Experience**:

- Flexographic plate-making or prepress: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing/printing: 1 year (preferred)
- Language: English (required)

**Work Location**: In person - Etobicoke, ON M9W 1E1
