This role will play a key part in improving the maturity of our security posture, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with IT teams to deploy effective security controls.The ideal candidate is a self-directed, solutions-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills who can identify root causes and maintain focus on security risks that matter – especially in an agile, fast-paced company like Mitel.Mission:With CISO functional leads / Global IT Enterprise Manager and local management, implement information security policies and practices throughout their scope.Work in cooperation with Mitel IT for the implementation of Information security controls and processesResponsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage the ISMS within Mitel IT (aligned with CISO functional leads and Global IT Managers) and ensure consistency of it at the global level.Implement the security strategy and policies for Mitel IT regarding infrastructure, applications, processes, and people.Assess and report local/global security risks for IT-related solutions and services.Contribute to the achievement of Global security targets defined for Mitel.Report and monitor the security key performance indicators.Support security audits and ISO certification projects (incl. ISO 27001) and timely closure of assigned open audit findings and recommendations.Support Customer assessment activities as required.Conduct access reviews and drive continuous improvements.As requested by SOC team, qualify and report on security events and incidents, and ensure Root Causes are understood and addressed properly.Contribute to risk remediation activities and IT incident handling, and limit exposure to IT assets.Work closely with other IT team members for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the appropriate security level.Support the definition and execution of global Security projects.Work on security-related Projects & services deliveries.Support Endpoint Protection Service Delivery.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Computer ScienceA minimum of 5 years of work experience in Information Security, or similarExperience in risk, compliance, and information security policy development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively across functions.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and make informed decisions.Knowledge of IT processes and controls and a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).Working experience with regulatory and compliance standards, including ISO 27001.Comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Incident/Vulnerability/Exception management.English language mandatory.#LI-SS3For more information, visit Why Mitel or follow us on LinkedIn here.Mitel is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
