Company:IndemniProProperty Claims Supervisor - Full Time (Markham, Ontario)We have an existing opportunity to add a Property Claims Supervisor to our teamThe Property Claims Supervisor will actively manage the day to day Adjusting Team composed of Property desktop adjusters. This position involves leading and managing staff within our National Accounts business division with respect to quality and customer service excellence, training and development, and technical support. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of quality adjusting services while supporting the growth and development of the unit. The supervisor will also be required to manage production targets and quality targets as needed to support the department’s goals. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Commercial and Personal lines Property claims, some Liability & Auto experience will be seen as an asset.Role Responsibilities:Meet or exceed service level agreements for our Personal Lines and Commercial Clients.Create a high-performance work environmentSupport achievement of financial and production targets through management of KPIs such as abeyance, cycle time, adjuster billings, claims response times, and interim and final billingsCompletion of quality assurance reviews to ensure quality standards are metWeekly review of the operational dashboard KPI targets Responsible for handling escalated complaints to ensure resolution reachedProvide leadership, guidance and mentoring to direct reports to achieve their full potentialAct in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters and technical issuesIndividual meetings with adjuster for approval of denials and settlements above the adjusters’ authorityParticipate in the recruitment, selection and performance management of staffThis position will report directly to the Director, Claims, National AccountsQualifications & Experience:University degree or combination of education and equivalent business experienceCIP Designation or working towards completion (must have relevant CIP courses needed for Adjuster license qualification)Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Personal Lines and Commercial Property claims adjustingPrior Supervisory experience an assetFully licensed as an Adjuster in Ontario and multiple provincial jurisdictions except Quebec, OR has the ability to be licensed as an Adjuster in Ontario and multiple provincial jurisdictions except QuebecStrong communication skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, and must be able to flex style appropriate to audienceDemonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective mannerDemonstrated leadership in training and mentoring junior staff and creating a career pathStrong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to learn new technical systems including Client claims systemsProactive and positive approach to customer service ensuring that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely mannerStrong interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situationsBilingual is an assetWhy should you consider a career with ClaimsPro?
