Job Description Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire Senior Property Field Claims Specialist to join our team Reporting to the Manager, Property Claims, you will be responsible to investigate, assess and settle losses in residential property claims for Allstate Insurance Company of Canada in the Greater Toronto, Ontario area. This position will work from a home office. Role Designation Hybrid Benefits To Joining Allstate Flexible Work Arrangements Employee discounts (15% on auto and property insurance, plus many other products and services) Good Office program (receive up to 400$ back after purchasing office equipment) Student Loan Payment Matching Program for Government Student loans Comprehensive Retirement Savings Program with employer matched contributions Annual Wellness allowance to support employees with improving health and wellbeing Personal reflection day Tuition Reimbursement Working within the community and giving back Accountabilities Investigate and settle property claims throughout the surrounding area; Interpret insurance policy wordings as well as determine policy coverage and reserves; Investigate and analyze the clientele’s coverage; Provide prompt and equitable settlement of claims while exercising superior customer service for policyholders; Work together with customers as well as vendors to bring a file to completion providing both sides with a resolution; Advise distribution partner on possible coverage opportunities if applicable; Other tasks as required. Qualifications A minimum 5 years’ experience adjusting residential property claims or working in a relevant property claims role. Completion of CIP designation or desire to obtain is preferred. Experience in complex claim investigation Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Bonus qualification Experience handling large loss residential property claims would be a definite asset Experience adjusting auto claims would be considered an asset. Completion of the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) or the HAAG Certification is considered an asset. Experience working with property estimating programs such as Symbility and/or Exactimate is preferred Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
