About the Role

As a Industrial Safety Trainer / Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our Training Academy. This dual-purpose role combines training facilitation with business development. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality training sessions while actively seeking new contracts and clients to expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions under the Training Academy department (Training programs include Rigging, Overhead Crane, Working at Heights, Forklift Operator, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space Entry) Approximately 60% of time for this role will be spent facilitating training programs in the classroom. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and contracts. Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored training solutions that meet client needs. Represent Hercules at industry events and networking opportunities to promote our services. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to develop innovative strategies for growth. Ensure all training and business development activities align with Hercules' core values and vision. Ensure operational compliance with company policies, financial targets, and KPIs. Manage local and remote team members, providing leadership and coaching on safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

Formal education or experience working in a Health and Safety role. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver effective training sessions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A results-driven mindset with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with the training and safety industry is an asset. Ability to manage budgets, P&L, and business growth strategies.
