Tall Tree is an award-winning healthcare company focused on exceptional integrated healthcare. We’re a diverse team that is endlessly nerdy— we love learning, teaching, and keeping up to date with the latest research. We're looking for people who are unreasonably passionate, curious, and enthusiastic - people who want to be part of something bigger than themselves. If you’re driven by growth, teamwork, and a tenacious pursuit of excellence, Tall Tree is where you belong.
As an employer, we aim to be the top choice in healthcare in BC. We want to be the only place you'd want to work. Our workplaces are amazing, both physically and socially, and we offer all the usual perks. But we also invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in education for our team every year. We believe that when our team members are happy and engaged, they're better equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.
At Tall Tree, you'll be part of a community that's dedicated to doing healthcare the way it should be done.
About the role:
As a Clinic Director at Tall Tree, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and effective clinical team, and building a workplace culture that makes Tall Tree the best place to work in healthcare.
In this role, you will lead the recruitment, training, and development of a deeply talented and compassionate clinical team. You’ll focus on creating a supportive workplace culture where every person feels valued, inspired, and motivated to deliver exceptional care. Your efforts in building and retaining a dedicated clinical team will directly impact the quality of patient experiences and outcomes, as well as the overall success of the clinic.
As Clinic Director, you’ll get to lead the way in driving clinic performance, and making a real impact on patient care and service quality. You'll be able to get creative about crafting strategies that meet and exceed our revenue and profitability goals, champion quality improvement initiatives, and lead the develop of new programs that expand our reach and strengthen our community impact. This is your chance to make meaningful, lasting improvements that elevate our clinic and the lives we touch.
This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished health leader to make a transformative impact within Canadian healthcare. If you’re passionate about creating a warm, patient-centred environment while elevating clinic performance and building a deeply committed team, this role is made for you.
As a Clinic Director at Tall Tree, you will:
- Grow the clinic. You’ll lead recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training to build and maintain a high-calibre clinical team. You’ll help provide development and coaching as needed to support the growth and retention of all clinical staff. You’ll contribute to strategic and operational planning to align clinic goals with Tall Tree’s vision.
- Support clinic performance across all services. You’ll regularly review clinical loads and communicate goals, targets, and their rationale to the team. You’ll work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement strategies for practice growth.
- Ensure high-quality care to all patients by serving in quality assurance and improvement roles, implementing clinical policies and procedures, and taking responsibility for the standard of care each patient receives at the clinic.
- Gather feedback from patients and the team, monitor clinical outcomes, and make adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Participate in service development and evaluation to enhance service offerings and care quality.
- Cultivate a warm, enthusiastic clinic culture, prioritizing education, respect, and making work fun. You’ll support individual and team well-being, fostering a work environment where staff feel valued, fulfilled, and motivated.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and mentor others to cultivate leadership within the team.
- Proven leadership experience. Ideally, you have 5+ years of experience leading a clinical team, or experience in healthcare management, and have demonstrated experience in fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- A strong understanding of clinical operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. You have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team. You communicate clearly and effectively, whether you’re speaking, listening, or writing. You have stellar organizational and time management skills.
- Ideally, you have a clinical background: a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a demonstrated commitment to mastering clinical skills is an asset.
- A commitment to growth: You have a deep passion for learning and continuous growth and development. You bring an openness to exploring new ideas and approaches to service delivery.
- Enthusiasm for teaching: You love sharing knowledge and can help mentor colleagues.
- Humility and curiosity: You have an eagerness to learn and collaborate. You bring a unique blend of deep personal humility and strong professional drive
