Role:

This position will report directly to the Plant Controller. The requirements consist of someone who is motivated, organized, a quick learner and who could remain focused while multi-tasking in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily inventory production postings (actuals) in the ERP system (Syspro).
  • Payables-related tasks (PO filing, matching, non-GRN invoice approvals, following up aged items with plant managers/ purchasers/ suppliers, preparing weekly packages to head office)
  • Process GRNs (goods received note) - regular and supply chain transfers as applicable.
  • Prepare PO Fill Rate Report.
  • Inventory-transfer stock to warehouses in the ERP system.
  • Verify invoice and transfer paperwork to actual product received.
  • Back-up for other team members.
  • Assist in projects as required.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years previous experience in an administrative position, general accounting.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of disciplines to maintain and foster good working relationships.
  • Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of ERP systems and other software applications such as MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, in dealing with a variety of work situations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • Aptitude to be proactive requiring minimum direction.
  • Capable of decision making/problem solving within predetermined guidelines.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to deal with a fast-paced work environment, and multiple demands.
  • Available to work the last Saturday of the month for inventory count and entry in ERP system.
