Plant Administration Coordinator

Role:This position will report directly to the Plant Controller. The requirements consist of someone who is motivated, organized, a quick learner and who could remain focused while multi-tasking in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily inventory production postings (actuals) in the ERP system (Syspro).
- Payables-related tasks (PO filing, matching, non-GRN invoice approvals, following up aged items with plant managers/ purchasers/ suppliers, preparing weekly packages to head office)
- Process GRNs (goods received note) - regular and supply chain transfers as applicable.
- Prepare PO Fill Rate Report.
- Inventory-transfer stock to warehouses in the ERP system.
- Verify invoice and transfer paperwork to actual product received.
- Back-up for other team members.
- Assist in projects as required.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 2-5 years previous experience in an administrative position, general accounting.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of disciplines to maintain and foster good working relationships.
- Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of ERP systems and other software applications such as MS Office.
- Good interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, in dealing with a variety of work situations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Aptitude to be proactive requiring minimum direction.
- Capable of decision making/problem solving within predetermined guidelines.
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to deal with a fast-paced work environment, and multiple demands.
- Available to work the last Saturday of the month for inventory count and entry in ERP system.
