Actively seeking a bilingual HR Generalist in Mississauga. This position will report to the Director of HR and work closely with facility management to assure staffing levels. If you are seeking a new challenge, then this is the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a well-recognized companyResponsibilities:Full cycle recruitment: Sourcing and collaborating with managers to onboard new employeesSourcing and screening applicants for job openingsWorking with Managers in QC, Ottawa & NS to support their open requisitionsCoordination of interviews for internal managers Management of shortlisted applicants necessary background checks Employee Relations for all employees including Management & Executives Work closely with agency contacts for recruitment Assure compliance for policies and procedures.Health & Safety initiatives to assure complianceWorking within HR legislation to assure compliance throughout all departmentsCoordination of new hire schedulePrepare of recognition communicationsEnsure up to date employee filesQualifications:3-4 Years HR Generalist or Recruitment ExperienceFluent Bilingual – French/English as this role will speak with QC employeesUniversity or College Education, preferably within an HR focused courseStrong understanding of Canadian employment laws and best practicesAbility to multi-task and work closely with management when requiredStrong communication skills to roll out new processes when requiredAbility to manage projects and timelinesCHRP/CHRL designationPlease note that this is a contract term position with the likelihood of transitioning to a permanent opportunityHybrid role – Working 2 days in office per week
