Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Labour and Human Resources Specialist for a permanent position with our client in Cornwall, ON. This position is 100% onsite requiring the successful candidate to be able to reliably commute to the job site daily. Paid vacation EAP On-Site parking Casual dress The Senior Labour and Human Resources Specialist will have the following responsibilities: Negotiate collective agreements, mediate labor disputes and grievances, and provide advice on employee and labor relations Develop and maintain effective key stakeholders relationships within client groups and provide your support in HR related matters Collaborate with the Director, Human Resources, the HR team and business leaders to ensure alignment of programs and policies with overall strategic direction Support the execution of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs to sustain continued growth and retention. Respond to questions from management and employees on a variety of HR matters and escalating higher level and serious matters to Director of HR. Facilitate day to day employee/labor relations, including complaint resolution and disciplinary actions. Provide support and assist with hourly and salaried personnel recruitment and provide onboarding support to hiring managers. Assist in implementing various HR initiatives, including providing recommendations on process improvements. Other HR projects as assigned by Management. The Senior Labour and Human Resources Specialist should have the following qualifications and skills: ~ Post-secondary degree/education in Human Resources ~ CHRP or working towards CHRP designation is an asset ~10 years of specialized Labour and Human Resources experience in a hands-on HR role ~ Superior collaborative and teamwork skills with the ability to quickly shift priorities to meet organization requirements collectively ~ Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) If you are interested in applying to our Senior Labour and Human Resources Specialist position, please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the 'Apply with Adecco' button.
