Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at 100 Mile District General Hospital in 100 Mile House, BC.
About the Role
This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed and days of work and shift times may vary. However, many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.
What We Offer
As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician with Interior Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital. In addition to performing related clerical duties and record keeping.

100 Mile House is a beautiful region surrounded by wilderness and rich history. The area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including Nordic skiing, mountain biking, and fishing. The community is also known for its excellent birdwatching and arts and culture scene.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a motivated and reliable Medical Device Reprocessing Technician with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
