Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at 100 Mile District General Hospital in 100 Mile House, BC.
Job Summary:
As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital. You will also perform related clerical duties and record keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate and sterilize medical devices and equipment
- Reassemble and test medical devices and equipment
- Distribute medical devices and equipment to various areas of the hospital
- Perform related clerical duties and record keeping
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical device reprocessing program or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
