Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at 100 Mile District General Hospital in 100 Mile House, BC.
Job Summary:This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed and days of work and shift times may vary. As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, you will be responsible for performing a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital.
Responsibilities:- Decontaminate and sterilize medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments
- Reassemble and function test medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments
- Distribute medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments to various areas of the hospital
- Perform related clerical duties and record keeping
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be reliable and motivated, with a commitment to providing high-quality work.
