Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Joseph Pathyil. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing care and assistance in a one-on-one setting. You will be required to work independently, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions and take action.
