About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Right at Home Mississauga North In Home Care and Assistance. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Right at Home Mississauga North In Home Care and Assistance, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions and take action.
