About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Right at Home Mississauga North In Home Care and Assistance. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medication.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid CPR Certificate and any other relevant certifications.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Language: Be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, bend, and move with ease, as well as sit and stand for extended periods.
