In-House Counsel Role at OSCO Construction Group

The OSCO Construction Group is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with our Contracts team to provide exceptional support and guidance on various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Assist in contractual review of construction contracts, providing expert advice on legal implications.
  • Participate in contractual negotiations, representing the company's interests and goals.
  • Manage litigation files, coordinating with outside counsel through the General Counsel.
  • Review and edit credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct case law and legislation research, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Manage contractual deadlines and notice requirements, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work in a deadline-driven environment, managing high volumes of workload with ease.
  • Negotiate with customers and vendors, maintaining strong relationships and resolving disputes.

Requirements

  • LLB or J.D. and/or Accreditation from Federation of Law Societies (if applicable).
  • 1-5 years of experience in any area of Law, with a strong focus on construction law.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence in communicating at all levels of the organization.
