Reporting to ABB E-Mobility’s Lead Legal Counsel, North America, you will be supporting ABB’s E-Mobility business and its related functions and be required to develop a good working relationship with the global business and local ABB Legal function. In this role you will be expected to support the ABB E-Mobility Canada business on all local corporate and commercial matters.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Review proposals and draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Advise and support internal business clients on legal and commercial matters.
- Provide corporate legal support and guidance to ensure that ABB E-mobility legal entities in Canada are operating in a sound legal and regulatory framework.
- Analyze legal issues requested by the General Counsel of ABB E-mobility or ABB E-Mobility Lead Legal Counsel, North America and provide general legal advice.
- Provide support in conducting internal and external compliance investigations and due diligence in compliance with ABB policies.
- Support corporate governance through the ABB legal functions or external counsels.
- Deliver legal and integrity training.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor with a common law and civil law qualification required (LLB and BCL).
- More than 10 years qualification experience practicing commercial law, either as a private practice associate or as an in-house corporate legal counsel.
- Experience with corporate law/corporate governance is highly preferred.
- Experience with consumer law, intellectual property, data privacy, digital legal expertise and litigation a plus.
- Having experience in similar industry or manufacture of goods and services would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English and French with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Preferably someone with a practical mind-set, who has a proactive hands-on attitude, exposure to cross country collaboration or project coordination skills, and experience in multicultural environment.
