About the Role

The Research Director at Leger will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of research studies, driving business growth by understanding client needs, guiding research strategy, and providing insightful presentations. This role will provide mentorship and direction to research managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research projects that meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Study Development: Participate in the development of research proposals, ensuring they meet client needs and objectives.
  • Client Account Management: Own and grow client accounts by providing strategic counseling, identifying business opportunities, and delivering value-added research insights.
  • Project Management: Oversee the full cycle of large-scale or complex market research projects, from research methodology to report writing and strategic recommendations.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure all project management steps are on track, including questionnaire validation, interviewer training, project fielding, and end-of-field coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional.
  • Custom Research Experience: 5 years of experience with supplier-side custom research experience.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
