Job Summary:

The Research Director at Leger is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of research studies, driving client growth by understanding their needs, guiding the research strategy, and providing insightful presentations. This role provides mentorship and direction to research managers, ensuring the successful execution of market research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of client accounts and growth through strategic counseling
  • Oversee the full cycle of large-scale or complex market research projects, from research methodology to report writing and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure all project management steps are on track and delivery to clients is on time, including questionnaire validation, interviewer training, project fielding, and end-of-field coordination
  • Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and validate project progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • 7 years' experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional
  • 5 years' experience with supplier-side custom research experience
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset
  • Strong Client Management skills, adept at building and nurturing client relationships, understanding client needs, and turning them into business opportunities
