Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, ability to develop specifications, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services
  • Assess requirements of the establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Consult with suppliers
  • Hire, train and supervise staff
  • Establish delivery schedules
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

Requirements

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement and contracts
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player, flexibility, accurate, judgement, reliability, proactive

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You must be able to maintain attention to detail and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
