Job Title: Manager, Food & Beverage

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Food & Beverage to join our team at Elements Casino Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Food & Beverage department to success, providing strategic direction, and hands-on operational assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the Food & Beverage operation
  • Develop performance objectives and deliver performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Plan, direct, and implement Food & Beverage strategic plans and overall business plans
  • Provide direction and guidance to the Sales & Catering team to drive sales and profitability of our banquet offerings
  • Maximize revenues of the food outlets while minimizing operating costs
  • Prepare and monitor the annual and long-term F&B budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze P&L statements and present to the Executive Team with suggestions for improvement
  • Promote and market the Food & Beverage business
  • Work with the overall operational team to drive Gaming Revenue as it relates to Food & Beverage
  • Oversee the monthly inventory count and manage discrepancies
  • Liaise closely with the General Manager to ensure strategic sales goals are exceeded
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in all facets of the Food & Beverage operation, including a minimum 2-3 years of successful management experience
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a large team
  • Experience working with Microsoft suite and industry-specific software programs
  • POS experience
  • Track record of driving the profitability of Food & Beverage operations
  • A passion for providing exceptional guest service to internal and external guests
  • Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Serving it Right Certificate required
  • Food Safe Level 2 required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
