About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Learn 'N' Play Childcare Centre Inc.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position requiring a high school graduation certificate and 1-6 months of experience in a childcare setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess a strong ability to work with children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children by planning and organizing activities, preparing snacks, and ensuring cleanliness of the childcare centre.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) an asset
  • 1-6 months of experience working with young children in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
