Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at LEARN N PLAY CHILDCARE CENTRE INC. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement learning plans tailored to the needs of each child, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver programs that foster a love of learning and exploration.
  • Lead activities that encourage creativity, socialization, and emotional intelligence, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
  • Monitor children's progress and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and families.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, planning and organizing activities that promote their well-being.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other Early Childhood Educators and Assistants.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • 1-7 months of experience in a child care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
