Executive Director, Transportation Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Transportation Operations to join our team at METRO TRANSPORT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our transportation division.
Key Responsibilities- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless operations.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, aligning with the company's mission and vision.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a professional and diplomatic image.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Work Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Language and Hours: Work in English and maintain a regular work schedule of 40 hours per week.
