About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our transportation operations at Everest Transportation Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our fleet and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to meet the needs of our operations.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our team members, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Financial Management: Manage our budget, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means and making sound financial decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our operations are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a management role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
