We are currently recruiting for a casual Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage for one of our industrial client sites in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be part of our dynamic team that innovates and leads in the field of health care.
About Our Opportunity:We offer an excellent compensation package, including a day rate of $1,079.40. This position provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing primary care to patients who attend the clinic and overseeing the care provided by colleagues.
The key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining standards in line with AB regulatory body
- Complying with International SOS Standards and Procedures
- Assessing patient needs, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnosing disease, formulating and prescribing treatment plans
- Providing basic disease prevention, coordination of care, and health promotion
- Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans as needed
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner Qualification licensed in BC
- CPR/BLS
- ACLS
- Prescriptive authorization
- Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
