Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Donald Barnes. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to adults in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist with regular exercise and activities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

As a Home Care Assistant, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to travel to different locations. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
