About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at Donald Barnes. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of comfort and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
