Job Title: Home Care Worker

At Donald Barnes, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a home care environment.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
