About the Role:

At Donald Barnes, we are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to adults in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide personal care and support to clients

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence

Work Environment:

  • Work in employer's/client's home
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Overtime required

What We Offer:

  • Permanent position
  • 80 to 100 hours bi-weekly
