Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Direct Liquidation. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, including tracking and reporting on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management, including cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and stockroom organization.
  • Train and supervise staff on inventory management procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve overall inventory management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • 30 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
