Inventory Control Manager

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Inventory Control to join our team at the Vancouver – Marine Drive Distribution Centre (DC). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of all inventory control functions, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout the DC.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the inventory control process, including daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
