Maintenance Millwright/Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright/Technician to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve technical issues with CNC equipment, including troubleshooting, testing, and repairing preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Facilities Management: Manage on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of the building and its property, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions for all CNC and non-CNC manufacturing equipment, including mechanical and minor electrical issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Produce detailed service reports and document processes to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Cooperate with technical teams and share information across the organization to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate vehicles and machinery, including lift trucks and cranes, to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Recommendations and Briefings: Provide recommendations and briefings on repairs, diagnostics, and equipment specifications, as well as specifications for new equipment.
- Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a Maintenance Technician, with 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting/repair of CNC machines highly desired.
- Licenses and Certifications: 433A Millwright license is an asset but not required.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations of engineering and installation drawings for buildings, MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word), and familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work with multiple discipline projects, project management and supervision skills, decision-making ability, leadership skills, time management and organization skills, and the ability to work off normal hours during equipment breakdown situations.
- Language: Must be fluent in English (reading and writing).
