Job Summary

Ontario Inc is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our operations team. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of our production floor, ensuring that our products are manufactured efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

This is a supervisory role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support as needed. Your expertise in manufacturing processes and procedures will enable you to make informed decisions and drive productivity improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
  • Lead a team of manufacturing staff, providing training and coaching as needed
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including production managers and engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
