Clinical Research Network Director

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Network Director to develop and manage long-term relationships with strategically important sites and institutions.

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to build and enhance the image and reputation of GlaxoSmithKline with sites locally. The successful candidate will provide an interface between GSK and sites to create an optimal clinical trials environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational visions for GSK clinical research therapeutic areas and portfolio.
  • Advise clinical teams on study-specific site selection or site management strategies.
  • Provide strategic input for operational excellence, process efficiency, and trial delivery.
  • Identify and disseminate best practices and contribute to standardization across the LOC/region.
  • Collaborate closely with sites and the LOC Clinical Operations Department to proactively identify risks to quality and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in clinical research operations.
  • Experience working in matrix management and optimization of processes.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and GCP.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
