We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in managing the day-to-day workload, including labeling and filling prescriptions.
- Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders and ensure accurate dispensing.
- Perform independent double checks for repeat prescription releases and verify customer receipt of correct prescriptions.
- Identify potential therapeutic issues and seek the Pharmacist's review.
- Work collaboratively with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs to fulfill pharmacy responsibilities.
- Prepare and review billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents.
- Assist patients with prescription pickup and enter prescriptions into the computer system.
- Screen calls and gather relevant information for the Pharmacist.
- Order, maintain, and prepare inventory of medications.
- Review invoices and other documentation.
- Pack and ship prescription orders.
- Receive and maintain accurate inventory.
- Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards.
- Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Bridging Program.
- Two or more years of related pharmacy experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kroll and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical industry practices.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and business acumen.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
